March 26 is PURPLE DAY! It’s the global awareness about epilepsy worldwide. People around the world are invited to join by wearing purple and hosting events to support about the awareness of epilepsy.

Purple Cake Day!

I love cakes and the color purple, and what better way to enjoy the two is by having my own purple cake! It’s not just a visual and gastronomical enjoyment, but this one’s for a cause.

Purple Cake Day is an annual event held on March 1st to celebrate the children in our lives and empower them to help other children in need worldwide. This year the focus of Purple Cake Day is the children of Haiti who were devastated by a severe earthquake on January 12th, 2010.
